Race Report: Ruth Avierinos – Multiply Adventure Challenge Sprint

Who knew 2.5km of racing could be so much fun! Taking part in it in 2017 and having missed this event last year. I was really excited to take part in it again! I managed to complete the 2.5km and 15 obstacles in 19min. It is quite a different dynamic from the usual races where there is room for error. In this race one small mistake can cost you the race. I was quite happy that I managed to get through every obstacle first time helping for quite a smooth run through of the course. However one thing about sprint racing that will take me some getting used to is discovering all scratches and bruises that you have, and having no idea where they came from. Definitely worth it though. All part of the fun! Well done to everyone who took part, especially to the incredible people who took part in the wheelchair race. You truly are such an inspiration. Thank you so much to all my sponsors for allowing me to race it really is such a privilege @KeyHealthMedicalAid @ToyotaSA @FirstAscentSA @High5SA @TeamNevARest . And last but definitely not least I am so greatful to God for giving me the abilities to do what I love.
