16km Black OpsElite: Michelle and Sabrina took on the Black Ops Elite and they both crossed the line in 01:47:29 finishing together in 5th place.
Greg earning yet another podium position with his 3rd place in a time of
01:18:46, just 4 minutes away Thomas’s winning time.

Sabrina’s Race Report: “Today’s race was very challenging for me mentally and physically- but with Gods grace and with the best support, I was able to overcome all obstacles – taking home 6th place. The ladies started and maintained a very fast pace from the get-go.Struggling to keep up, I had to remind myself that sometimes we need to look at how far we have come and focus on bettering ourselves in some way at every race: there is always something to be learnt! After farmers walk 11885403_902122023192134_1402418193361749849_n(which was an absolute killer) the worst was behind me and there were still dangling balls I was adamant to play with… being able to ring that bell never sounded so sweet! Just love these races where we are able to challenge ourselves and see our own improvements.”

Greg’s Race Report: “Race day started off with Warrior Ric psyching us all up just to remind us we were at a Warrior Race!! The crowd counted us down and we were off, a bit of pushing and shoving saw me drop back slightly more than usual butI made up for that at the first “obstacle”:  a steep rocky uphill. I can definitely say my aggressively soled Inov8’s helped with that! Claude, Thomas and Louis set a high starting pace from there and I could feel my legs weren’t happy with the pace already…” READ MORE

As if the Warrior Race was not enough of a work out, Greg also competed in the Cactic Fitness Black-opps challenge on Saturday and set a leading time of 7:02 for the challenge (10 muscle-ups, 20 weighted squats, 20 weighted pull-ups, 20 weighted knee raises, 20 ring dips and 30 decline push-ups). While he was racing on Sunday someone had broken his time, so after a short rest he went back and managed to finish in 5:43 securing the top spot. His training partner Jaco Lourens won the Blue Challenge so their training is paying off.11891419_902172593187077_8269760801365835541_o
