Race Report:  Willem Erasmus – Weekend 11/12 November 2017

As the injuries are coming along nicely, I am starting to enter more races to work on the fitness and get back into racing shape with the 2018 season in mind.

This weekend I participated in the following events:

11 November 2017: Multiply Adventure Challenge

Type: OCR Sprint

Place: GoG Lifestyle Park

Category: Brave (2km, 20 Obstacles)

Result: 2nd

A new and nice concept with some serious lactic kicking in around the first kilometre… Hope to see more of these races to keep things interesting and exciting.

Well done to the whole KeyHealth Nevarest team for taking podiums in all categories.

12 November 2017: Smuts Trail Run/Walk

Type: Trail Run

Place: Smuts House Museum

Category: 21km (Actual = 20km)

Result: 3rd

The idea with the trail run was to get some time on the legs together with some hill-training, and Smuts Trail Run didn’t disappoint.

It’s always nice representing my KeyHealth Nevarest Team and presenting them with 2 podiums in 2 days.

Well done to my teammates on their results over the weekend.  Always nice to see a big Nevarest presence amongst the top Elite athletes in various events.

Also, thank you to everyone involved with Team Nevarest and for the opportunities to be part and to race in the colours of Team Nevarest.

Next up:

18 November 2017: TAF Trail Run Challenge, Tierpoort.

19 November 2017: Telkom 94, 7 Cycle Challenge.
