Race Report: Joshua de Jager – Warrior 8

The race started at a quick pace that I was able to stick with. The first few hills took their toll on me but I then found my pace that I was able to hold well while taking small breaks while completing an obstacle.

I found the obstacles to not be extremely challenging and I was able to pick up my running pace. I felt good throughout the race while pushing myself when I got to the Mud monster I took a small breather before I powered through the mud monster.

When I completed it the marshal told me that there was 1 km left, I made the decision to pick up the pace a lot and flying through the last few obstacles helped me finish with the time of 1:07:44. I felt that this was a good time to finish with because it gives me a goal to beat it in the upcoming 2018 season.
